Brand Story: Pickle Eating House champions the “Dude food revolution” - simple, no-nonsense, good flavour food in a setting that links cuisine to the natural environment. Drawing on the vineyard dining experience, this restaurant is literally an indoor garden, albeit an urban one with pickle jars dangling from the ceiling. Client’s Key Words & Brief: Simple yet sophisticated, reflecting a “revolt of sorts”, incorporating Obey-style street art and the owner’s sketch. Design Process: This project was fast and furious as Pickle was replacing an existing restaurant within three weeks. The directors had a clear vision of what they wanted, but needed someone to evolve it into a finished artwork. The final branding provided the desired attitude and style of revolutionary revolt they were seeking. Typeface: Caviar Dreams & bespoke lettering based on Carnivalee Freakshow.Colour: PMS Black.
