Packaging: Hungry Like The Wolf Lipstick
Brand Story: Antipodes is scientifically validated organic beauty brand with distributors in over 9 countries and has been recognised as a Fast 500 company by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise. Brief: The client wanted to expand their market and to break into the cosmetic sector. This brief was to conceptualise and design edgy high-end packaging for their flagship lipstick collection. The solution needed to retain Antipodes’ natural skin care philosophy but shift the brand identity to something that would captivate and drive sales in the cosmetic retail sector. Client’s Key Words: Edgy, high-fashion, “cool” attitude. Design Process: After extensive research into past, current and future: fashion, social, music, competitor and industry styles, I sourced a stock images which I digitally manipulated into an atmospheric environment. For packaging I incorporating enough traces of nature from the existing brand to maintain continuity.
